Goodbye, Oreo

by BlueJay   Mar 10, 2017

Let's scatter our memories across this open plane -

that way when I leave I can still
sleep at night knowing you'll have
forgotten the way my eyes took on
Dawn's violet gaze that time when

we rode an entire night and three states away.

Let's scatter our memories across this open plane -

that way I'll remember long after you
and never cry out your name again
from over a thousand miles away.
