Each Night

Each night
Solace descends
With tears in my bleached eyes
Upon your grave, I rest my soul
Heart bleeds.

*Cinquain*

A cinquain is a short, usually unrhymed poem consisting of twenty-two syllables distributed as 2, 4, 6, 8, 2, in five lines. It was created by the Imagist poet, Adelaide Crapsey.

This is a saddening, emotional piece. It feels a little eerie in my opinion because I imagine this person every night since their loss bleaching their eyes to mask the pain, mask the tears but in all honesty it makes the pain and tears worse and the redness too and I know you wouldn't bleach your eyes but as meena says it shows your pain in such a short, lovely write

^^I like this there is pain without mentioning
the word pain. Short yet the strong sadness lingers...take care
