The one who listens
to all that you pour and catch
those which only glistens,
who hurts when you’re in pain
and nurtures you back to health
when your heart is slain;

A confidant whom you can share
secrets kept in the vault of your soul
and never throws it into the air,
one who knows the silence
you consume daily and
faces to fight your inner violence;

So do you have that special someone..?

I do….

Sitting on nature’s lap
and a cup of coffee
with a smile our day unwraps,
the value of our friendship
is never taken for granted
making it an unsinkable ship!

    What a wonderful write, it's truth makes it special because having a special someone is a gift of life rarely given or rarely found. I think both people in this poem are blessed to have and share such a wonderful connection. I would think that neither one would ever take the connection for granted. I loved the write
