Dark Intentions

by Lyical Madness   May 2, 2017

Delightfully dark intentions
As the smooth whiskey opens my soul
I catch my eyes in the mirror
As I travel down the Rabbit hole

Dark cabert, a beautiful twist
On my journey to be me
It's undertones, like silky moans
I dance to be free

Cigarette smoke & candle light
The moonlight & the stars
The succeses & overcomes
As I look back at my scars

An alibi, I refuse to lie
In the quest to find myself
The deep & stromy waters
I push forward & recognise myself

Darkness is too easy
In this dessert of a land
But what no ones gets or figures out
I hold the light of hope within my hand

You may be quick to judge
& even to discern
But I assure you this
Unwarranted is your concern

I look into the whiskey
As it penerates my soul
I discover another part of me
For me, it is my goal

No pain & no glory
As this journey is a mess
But one I'm truly gald of
A twisted one I shall confess
