I lay upon this grassy mound
To talk
To cry
Of all I've found

I miss you every passing day
Your smile
Your laugh
Your charming way

I miss your voice and every word
Passing time
Memories blurred

I miss your eyes, loving, clear
The hurt some days
Strong
Severe

To lay here with you, lost in thought
Quells the pain
Unties the knot

    You tricked me. I was reading and about to hit the back button when you caught me in your web. See I'm very particular. I absolutely love rhymes. The symetry, tempo, the way it feels rolling off the tongue...

    The structure of this threw me off but it works. The natural pauses ate the breaks and the start of the new lines.

    The message I got from this was sad, but sweet. I loved it.
