Here To Timbuktu:

by Scott Cole   May 9, 2017

Does anybody know how to get to Timbuktu
That place that everyone sends you to,
They say it's somewhere over the rainbow
Straight up the yellow brick road you do.

To the ends of the very edges of the Earth
There's a sign there pointing which way to go,
You drive until you find the needles eye
From that eye look for your Morse Code.

Follow those beeping signals to Kingdom Come
Where a boat is waiting for your arrival,
This next part is important in getting there
Its near the Golden Sands that do spiral.

Just up the road from those Great Pyramids
With those wild lions and tigers not bears,
And I doesn't matter who's left holding the maps
You'll still have to stop for advice to get there.
..........................so good luck..............

Waah. Timbuktu appears to be a serious quest. What awaits there? Tell me and I shall start. This poem shows a lot of your creativity, the subject is so unique and the way you talk about it so bubbly. A lovely piece.
