And grieve did I. This piece made me remember some sad moments in my life.

When life is nothing more than falling leaves,
Abort all thoughts of joy and simply grieve.

Sometimes, I feel that life is so routine and meaningless and I can't help but be so sad about it. This was a great write, Ben.

Benny - Wow.. my Tuesday just went into a roller coaster of emotions from this..

I stalked the world for love but all I caught
Were beasts that tempted me into their snares.

    ^^^
This line... WOW.. this is just so... relatable and hard hitting..

well done on another amazing sonnet. I cant give any higher praise than to nominate..

As much as your comment made me laugh, don't bother with the giving up thing. You've posted free verse that's made me feel similar recently...

Ben, This one caught the flow of my imagination and deep thought banging my sense to wonder how I have been perceiving life and it's sorrowful trends of disappointment.
You made the thought worthy the attention and I for once had to be open to possibility that i do not need to force myself into a life that watches my shadow as I struggle, one can chose to abort a life that brings no joy and grieve the loss.

    Thanks Ben for enlightenment.
