Sleep with me Tonight

by Alec   May 30, 2017

Little hints have happened here
You're breathing changes when I'm near
You shiver with whispers in your ear
''Let me make my intentions clear''

I run my fingers through your hair
Bait the trap and set the snare
The flicker of fire begins to flare
Tonight at least the perfect pair

Contrived seduction so connived
At the main event we've arrived
Your eyes are suddenly so alive
Who am I to so deprive?

Cocktail dress flutters to the floor
Behind a locked bedroom door
''Duerme conmigo mi amor''
My latin princess begs for more

We come together in sweet embrace
Pure ecstasy plain upon her face
A night of silky satin lace
A sexy slow and steady race

This was written well with fluent rhyming... Hey but you know that already right?? I am blown away by your work and the fact that you write it so elegantly !!

But its always nice to hear from someone else ; )

Thank you. Its always my goal to tell a story or make a point in my writing. I don't use complicated metaphors or similies because they tend to get lost in translation. I stick to the literal. And of course, I love consonence, rhythm, and rhyme.
