The Pearls of Moon

by ddavidd   Jun 3, 2017

The nights
that the crescent
of your laughter ignites.

The nights that I baptize
in scintillation of your eyes
and sway
in the lilt
of sheer size,
in the tender cadence of surrender,
in the adornment
of stars' splendour
in skies.

The nights that
the white nectar of your breath
crawls and crawls
in their petals
and the petals of darkness
open
and open
and the darkness
turns inside out
and the rays of light
sprout.

--

the pearls of moon
on the neck of
darkness,
and a bridal wreath
fleshes beneath
the shell of your teeth.

The nights that
winter is warm
and darkness is bright
The nights that
we pour
into the light.

I like your choice of words here and the simple yet
beautiful description and its so vivid as well as elegant the
image of a beautiful woman(mother nature) comes to my mind.

Yes, I think dazzling is the right term for this piece. At the mention of the moon, you got me right away. Moon and love, I think they will forever be connected to each other. Truly, a dazzling piece.
