More from the Ball

by Brenda   Jun 10, 2017

So I feel a bit green
over seeing
the Red Queen
lose her head,
she's really quite dead.
So it's been said...
Soldier Tony with his blade so keen,
almost a ninja machine,
was quick to dispatch
that dreadful Red Hag.
So toss her remains in a bag,
lest not the party at all lag.
Good riddance I say...
-
I just heard the crier announce
Sin-derella is being the host
of some sort of dinner and toast.
We are invited to the cellar
where the rats play and frolic.
I understand it's been sprayed
to prevent colic.
Probably a good thing,
her guest of the night
may be the man who is also a bat,
he would give quite a fright
if his tummy twisted tight.
-
So come on Duchess Em and Cowgirl Ren,
lets make our way to the cellar.
We will join The Lady Mel who is still in
quite the lengthy converse with
her scholar Alec.
Let's join the throngs
and settle down
to dine on roast beastie
and eyeballs of newt.
With witty conversation
and plenty of libations
we will party the evening away....
