Gone in the Atmosphere

by Hope   Jun 13, 2017

Maybe I'm the one; the waiting one,
lost under the sun;
footprints smoke for the dawn,
where do I go from here in this wasteland?
there is no second chance,
my footprints are lost in the winds of the sands,
nobody follows behind me; wandering alone,
my hopes, my prayers, my dreams are across the sea,
what goes up must come down,
so let it rain; let me see the sea of change,
let it come now,
I can only be rediscovered;
as I wait to only go under,
I can only wait and wander,
something is steering me wrong in this zone,
lies to ponder,
pain to yield,
mistakes in this field,
where do I go from the footprints left behind?
my hopes, my dreams, my prayers are left to the sky;
gone along this silver borderline,
everyone eventually says goodbye;
one way or another by their backs,
you can only come back alive from the heart attack,
hope can only dance,
my reasons are better left in this wasteland,
where do I go from here?
my hopes, my prayers, my dreams are in the atmosphere.
