Messiah has never crossed over your land
where the idolatry lives on forever.
The land of which the witches
defeat the righteousness of the man
and vengeance conquers, love
The land that innocence is idiocy
is the sanction to sanity.
In the Abram-less land
of worshiping gods
who teach to love:
your family more than justice!
your brothers more than truth!
your.......hoods more than good!
more than humanity!
The land of different gods:
The gods of races and religions!
The gods of segregation and severance,
not the God of everyone!
The god of vengeance and malevolence
not the god of absolution and benevolence.
The gods of bonds and borders!
The gods of blissfulness
wrapped in the boxes of borders
and ribbon of nations
and bows of pride,
not the omnipresent God,
not the God of parity and impartiality!
The gods of shams and façades
not the God of the real meanings and quiddities!
The god of fantasies and fiction
not the God of true faith and conviction!
The bigot gods,
the gods of nemesis and castigation
not the God of redemption and mercy!
The solidarity of idolatry,
not the transparency of deeds and faith
or the idolatry of candidness!
evolves to invisibility,
in figurines of our identities,
Judging comments: I loved this poem, the guts to write it, and how it portray the idolatry that is all around us, while highlighting God for all of his amazing and beautiful qualities. It's easy to get caught up thinking believers follow multiple things, because they do fall into the trap of them in a bad name. I really liked this thought provoking piece, and thought it was really well done. Interesting piece to see on here!
