This...is the parade of our lives. It's gets a little dark and creepy sometimes! I loved this, Craig. I love your imagery here!

Thanks Bren, pleased you like and to think I had you down as a cookies and cream kinda girl lol,

Also thank you for the nom although I'm not sure that it deserves it as the last line is stollen from a song. Which is actually where the whole thing started.

Craig, another entry I'm guessing from the vault. This is relatable on so many levels and to so many of us here.

The title is intriguing because carnivals are usually fun but I have yet to have as much fun in life as I have had at a funfair then again carnivals can be hectic just as life can.

I love how you link the well known rides from funfairs into this and the parade for the parade is it a parade for one or can anyone join in because I think I'm there already lol joking aside this is very thought provoking, beautifully done and raw.

    Loved it

      Hey up Em

The last poem that I had in the vault I posted a week or so ago so all things now are new. Not saying there won't be some dark and brooding ones to come but at least they're fresh,

Until now I've kinda tried to intersect the vault writings with new stuff so I don't come across area right miserable bugger, because I'm not.

So what you get from here on in is all new stuff, well at least until I can be bothered to type up my early years poems.

Anyway thank you so much for your comment and it's praised x

Craig, don't let my modest appearance cool ya...I like fast cars and heavy metal. Give me a 6.4L, 6 speed stick Challenger R/T and I will tear the road up. Then go home and have cookies and milk with my grandbabies. I don't own a Challenger because I couldn't afford the insurance nor the tickets I would for sure get.lol

Get a motorcycle then, mind you it won't help with tickets.

My latest chat with the police went like this

      Police officer

      Evening, how are you?

      Me
      Well I was OK

      Officer
Any idea why we pulled you ?

      Me
      Because I was being a d!€k.

      Officer
      How fast were you going

      Me
      Err 80 ish

      Officer
Really! because at times we were well over 95 trying to catch up.

      Me
      Whoops.

End result is I didn't get done but we had a lovely little chat. Bloke was bang on to be fair.

Truth be told I was doing 120 at one point

That is hilarious ! Your cop was pretty cool dude though . I don't even want to think of how expensive a ticket like that would have cost.

Could have given me an instant ban if he wanted. Luckily he was a biker.

He actually said "have you ever considered using the inside Lane" my mouth being faster than my brain replied "no that's where all the slow people are"

Next he said "what about wearing a high visibility vest, anything to keep you more easily seen"

Dumb ass here replied "have you any idea how much this jacket cost i ain't sticking something gaudy over it"

At this point I think he gave up lol

Ok...that imagery was spot on. It reminds me of Silent Hill a bit. With the Ferris wheel and dark games. This is amazing Craig.
