Inner Demons

by Tony   Jul 14, 2017

I have a special secret place
Somewhere I like to go
A place where I can be myself
And let my feelings show

My dark abode is unkempt
And just a tad bit unrefined
It exists in the furthest reaches
Of the darkest corners in my mind

Here I dream of murder
Of violence and death
A wicked land where wicked go
To weeze out their dying breath

There is no escaping
When you're trapped inside my head
In this realm of imagination...
I can dream you dead

The ruffle of leathery wings
The muted sound of my scorn
One more falls to judgement
Another notch on my horns

Amazing! I love dark themed poems. This one is great, really raw and dark.

Your dark pieces are seriously too good, Tony. I am not really into dark pieces but I like your dark series!
