Flow

This is not the icy flow from a mountain
This is a thing born urgency and need
Not the melting of our ice caps
But a thing that we could all see

The river will not be bothered by it
It will not change its course or flow
As it tumbles over those rocks and cliffs
And creates drown holes below

It may not fill a river or sail a little boat
And it will not ever replenish the sea
But sat here in a traffic jam!
