Fast approaching

by Em   Jul 21, 2017

recently I've fallen victim to my own tears
as they replay all of life's bitter fears
whilst watching you on your hospital bed
as I try to think of a way to say what's in my head

because no matter what happened in the past
I only want you to stop suffering either way and fast

I wish for your spirit to pass over in peace, let's call a truce
because I'm sick of the heartache when I think of the abuse

or come round, stop being so stubborn breathe on your own
as you being this ridiculously weak has never been known
so hold my hand, squeeze my fingers tight
don't let go even if you see the angels light

as I'm your little girl and I find it tough to let you go,
I loved you through all the bad times aswell just so you know
so please dear Dad I'm begging you open up your eyes
I don't think I can handle your fast approaching demise.

It made perfect sense. I went through watching my father die when I was younger and whilst without the same hardships you have been through with your own. It was still very difficult. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Keep strong x

    Hey Em

You are going through a tough time at the moment, which is reflected in your writing, and so brave to express your feelings.
Keep as strong as you can

    Much thoughts and warmth

Hang in there, Duchess. This just made my heart hurt, ohhh, I cannot imagine your own battle in the hospital. You are also in my thoughts and we prayed for your dad.

It makes perfect sense, Em, as does your mind 'being all over the place'.
All the very best to you,
