Desired love

by Lucifer   Aug 12, 2017

I was unaware of the love and its colors.
From the prison of agony, I was watching others
falling into this madness - so deep and true.
I guess they would have flown for the wonder-land, as birds do.

Holding onto hope was making me insane.
I was waiting for a miracle to fade the pain.
My soul was drowning in mine own black sea
until you kissed my heart and set it free.

Far from the dust of lies, and away from the scars;
you took me to the moon's lap in the middle of the stars.
The skin of the loneliness has shed, now my world is new.
All of my dreams are fulfilled when I look forward to you.

    V@n, I agree with Em, this is astounding! I love it just the way it is although the last line in the first stanza was longer than the others. Your rhymes are properly managed here. I particularly like the third stanza. I think it is absolutely sweet. :-)
