Ben as you know sonnets are far from my strong point but this I think has been done superbly and the rhyming isn't forced as many doing this form do.

1/ I like this begining because it speaks of how difficult life is and how we may know the course we want to take but it is usually a hard slog to get there for most people, there's few that get where they want to first even second time around.

2/ This is a very powerful sentiment because there are no 'rules' in life apart from being born and dying which is unfortunate because many of us think about dying more than living the life we have which personally I think is where most people's depression comes from and also we listen too much to other people's views.

    3/ Love, love, love this.

Couplet/ This ending is just wow. We never know what's around the corner so we should live life to he fullest regardless of our woes yes, easier said than done coming from a woman who has been living in darkness way too long.

    All the best,
    Em x

Ben, do Sonnet's just flow from your finger tips? You make these effortless and beautiful and they just float there. Another amazing write from you! Well done my friend.

Thanks, L. I agree - it's a better sonnet, but poetry is subjective which is what makes it so great.
