My Scottish Man

by AngelaLuisaCory   Aug 22, 2017

My Scottish Man, come take my hand
And we will run through history.
The past has gone, today is here
The future is a mystery.

The words upon our lips unsaid
Nor physical approach,
Something ethereal, unreal
Beyond human reproach.

For miles do set us far apart
The hills and mountains high.
And where we sit we sit alone
But see the same blue sky.

So take my hand, my Scottish man
And we could maybe see
A place where you and I belong
In peace, just you and me
