Time only exists when you do not look at me

by ddavidd   Aug 23, 2017

Now is a link to everlasting.
Time only exists
when you do not look at me

Your beauty is perfection
paradise is those brief instants
that your eyes bridge to my soul
across the abysmal breach of this world.

Time only exists
when you do not look at me

Time is irrelevant
in all its curls and curvatures
in a glance of perfection.
Now is a speck of nothingness,
expanding and stretching itself
to everything, to this world,
searching its wholeness again,
painting senselessly
to find its blank canvas again
versifying madly
to find its silence again,
turning around the globe
turning around it axle
turning around its hinge, pivot, kingbolt, beloved, star
to sustain its zero again.

Now is the link to everlasting

Time only exists
when you do not look at me.

The title drew me in and I was thinking about it a lot before
I started to read the actual poem. The flow of this poem is
alluring as well as descriptive. There is a tone of passion within
these words without making it too overdone. I also like how the
title was used to break the stanzas up it makes us feel, think and
just sink into the words…a lovely read which I enjoyed!
