    Mandi, you have a flare for free verse! Everyone seems to be writing about the seasons and wow, this one is absolutely another fantastic piece. It's vividly descriptive with a beautiful yet sad ambience. Nicely written.

    Mandy, I really like this a lot. Fall being my favorite season, I felt there was more to this than just the season though? Something more personal perhaps? I may be way off, it's just a feeling I picked up reading this-

      Yes, definitely something more personal. I wrote it with the idea of the feeling you get when you have to leave special times in your life behind, change. I love fall and the coming of winter, but there's also a melancholy to it. I feel that in my life alot too, while change is good, there's melancholy. Thank you for the comment, Brenda :D
