I sink into your softness
You know my curves so well
It's been this way for many years
It's a place I like to dwell
All those cosy nights you've carried me
Comfort you always bring
You are a witness to my life
All those changes you could ring
We've moved around together
From one home to the next
You always seem to fit right in
So many changes you accept
But lately you seem older
A little frayed and in need of repair
I don't care though, I won't be parted
From you my favourite chair.
Nothing beats your favorite chair. No matter where you go you always have the one piece of familiarity. Well done-

Love the rhyming and content of this piece. Gives a warm woolly feeling with the chair reveal

KitKat your poetry is evolving! Lovely! A poem about a favorite chair.
Right mark. Her poetry is evolving!
Before your very eyes! Thanks for your encouragement x

You are very welcome, it made me totally laugh which is something I've not done much of in recent months.
I'm really honoured you've said that Craig, how lovely ... I hope you get more laughs coming soon x
Kitty, loved the way you framed this poem around your chair.
Kitty, you are writing some amazing poems.
This one is one of them.
I am glad it's in the nomination list.
