My face is smiling as she arrives
There's nothing for me to say
I go and hide the kitchen knives
Well it's only for one day

    ^^

Brilliant, Milly. Your rhyming is smooth as water off glass in this one and the subject matter is...well, let's just say relatable somewhat!
Hope someone nominates this. I would but am out of votes.

    take care,
    Ben

Haha I love it, Milly! I feel for you and I wish I could come over and find something to make her trip ov-I mean, something constructive to say. Good for you, and I'm sorry you have to deal with that but it sounds like it's worth it to you :) My heart goes out to you in your time of need :P

OMG! This is so absolutely TRUE! I'm proper giggling over here at the knives bit :-)
I still can't nominate but I'm adding it my faves and will use it as a reminder in years to come to not be the MIL from hell! x

Very well done Milly, and how true, I think of a song from many years ago called; "Mother-in-law"
Very funny and cute rhyming, I nominated, I think it's a Win!
