Forgotten Words

by ddavidd   Sep 7, 2017

Sentences built walls,
curbing the space of silence:
infinity fenced
by infinitude disposition of words!

Silence is the inclination of timelessness,
the search for forgotten words,
for the
tenantless times.

Surviving loneliness
we go on and on endlessly
to bethink
the words that we sense once we knew,
to enshrine ourselves
on and on
in the creations of our own,
when tranquil sea untwines and wanes
into the waves.

Poetry is when silence loudly
looks for its lost limbs,
forsaken,
in the battle of what is said
and what is ought to be said,

the vociferous drum of voids
in every feeling, every bruise of waves, of sound
vibrating
to the missing silence,

when
we speak
to dovetail the void
that we just
sensed.

Wow this hit me hard, Frank! Magnificent! I was going to say pretty much what Meena said, that stood out for me and I felt it. Just wonderful! <3

This is spectacularly well done. Inside and out it just resonates with me in a way I couldn't possibly put into words. This oughta go for gold!
