A very sad piece. I thought at first you were talking about an engagement ring and the missed the opportunity of love but i am thrown a little by the title. Im wondering if perhaps I have missed something significant and would love to hear more about your thoughts surrounding the title. Not to detract at all from the poem which is a very emotional piece with well cast visuals and emotional content and which is steeped with unrequited love. Milly x

Peach is actually the nickname for the person the poem is about, it's a little off without a backstory since it's a bit random but found it to be more fitting than anything else, honestly.

Using the nickname of the person was inspired. For me I like a poem to inspire visually and emotionally and make me think about what im reading so the more I think about a poem the more I get from it. Thank you for letting me know because that adds yet another dimension Milly x
