Another Boring Meeting

by Maple Tree   Sep 14, 2017

Crouching like a lioness
listening to a weasle squeal
about silly things and endless
torment, I fight back urges
to curse while laughing

uncontrollably...

I really want to keep
my job, so I allow the vultures
to pluck out my eyes and tease
my ear drums with hope for
a better tomorrow.

Loved it. What a lovely creative and unique way of portraying the often pointless , stupid tumewasting corporate meetings. Where you are forced to listen to the droning tones of someone talking about something huge that holds no interest whatsoever. Definitely deserves the nomination and definitely one of your more brilliant pieces. Milly x

Oh man this is a wonderful image of the office/workplace, with the animal/zoo references! Wonderfully written and hope you don't have to eat anyone!
