Bear the Full Weight of This, Love:

by BlueJay   Sep 19, 2017

I will continue
capturing you
upon pages that

you will almost never hold.

Just so you know,
Love, I will continue
penning your name into
my heart and drawing
your face as I feel
it would flow -

I will continue
falling asleep to
your voice as it is
coming across a screen

never bearing the full weight of its timber,

And as lonely
as this is,
I will happily
continue.

This piece flows with delicacy, although full of sadness,
but a lovely poem to read
    much love

Think I've been in a similar position but I shall not write another word for or about that person.

    Thank you for sharing this

This is so sad to read Maddie. I feel some heavy weight after reading this. But as Em said, there is something beautiful about the sadness in here.

This is extremely sad but something about it is so beautiful too. Its like you don't say so much in these lines but you say enough, if that makes much sense.
