Between Hope & Hell

The rising waves of fear
Surge within
A raging Tsunami of trapped emotions
Tears sit on the edge of my eyes
As I ride it out
I adopt the mantra- It's all going to be ok
I mouth it silently
As my wordless breath sends it out into the universe
My soul already knows the answer
But is yet to share it with my mind
So I stand on the edge
Between hope & hell
Desperately trying to balance
On the tightrope of life
