whispering winds

by Em   Sep 24, 2017

The wind whispers my full name
as I feel icicles on my fingers
it kisses my rosy cheeks

I'm positive I heard your voice
calling me over the breeze
as your warm lips kiss my forehead
your manly hands hold my feeble ones

but my mind is playing tricks

you've been gone years now

though these storms still delude me
in bittersweet memories of you

This has a very tangible chill to it, Em. Made me cold reading.
