Own

I was never yours keep
The wind is not something you can own
Yet you tried to anchor me down
Showing your not yet fully grown

A gypsy soul
Of fire & ice
Which all who are wise
Will not dare to dice

You can't own the wind
You can't tame the sea
You can't stop the rhythm of freedom
That courses deep within me

Sadly not often realised
Is that others are not for us to own
Merely to touch & enhance our lives
And make us feel a little more closer to home
