Adding to this because I can't sleep.

There is a simple solution to this but the authorities will never go for it.

All it takes is for them to say it's not safe park up. That simple. It will never happen because consumers require goods.

Example

We are bound by driver's hours regulations and rightfully so.
A few years ago we had really bad snow (I like snow lol) Anyway the government and transport regulators relaxed driving hours and total shift times to ensure the supermarkets received their deliveries.

I honestly swear I seen two old girls fighting over a loaf of bread.

At one point I would have laughed at this. At that point I thought Jesus is that what we have become. No one can bake a loaf of bread anymore?

We baked our own and it was lush.

I get you very clear Craig...I also have encountered that complaint when I was working for a sugar manufacturer when deliveries are still pushed thru in the midst of strong winds and brewing storm. Lives and inventory are put at stake... not very wise but business minded people really mean business.
