You truly are beautiful

by Beautiful Tragedy   Oct 11, 2017

I’m sitting here in the warmth
Of the night air and all is
Silent.
I have a cigarette in my hand
And your picture as my background;
Replaying every moment of the last time I seen you.
Your stomach started to hurt;
And I’d wanted to comfort you in any way I could so I just
Pulled you into a hug and kissed your cheek.
Your continuous smile matched your green-golden specked eyes;
And I couldn’t help but think
to myself how utterly breathtaking it makes them.
You were glowing with such adoring energy,
And as I sit here and look at our
last taken selfie the only
thought that runs through my
head is:
You truly are beautiful,
My love.
