ah crikey Kasie, I know this feeling so well! And then one day they're taller than you and the mind just can't comprehend!

Kasie, I can relate perfectly to this one. I have three - the oldest is now 11 and I simply can't believe where the time has gone. But as you point out, we have to move aside, not stand in their way and let nature take it's course or risk resentment in the long run. Not easy though, is it?

    Take care,

    Ben

It's definitely not easy having to let them do things on their own. My son is 4 and he is trying to do everything own his own that I use to help him do. But I want to raise him to be independent, so I just have to step aside and let him figure some things out for his self.

      Thank you

Kasie, I totally understand this. My "babies" are both in their 20's with babies of their own that are growing too fast for them. It's hard to see them go out on their own, you just want to hold on tight. This really is a sweet write . Enjoy your baby!

Thank you, I definitely want to hold on tight. Just have to enjoy this time while it last. My baby will be starting school next year.

A short piece, but a great meaning; the time flies by and as much as it hurts, there comes a point where all you can do is watch what you've made flourish and fly away.

    Great job Kasie,
