Oh Glenn, this is just so bittersweet. The absolute agonies of dementia/alzheimer's must make you feel robbed of your wife on a daily basis :-(

This is heartbreaking.... I don't know it first hand but my Grandad suffered and when I saw him last (before he died) I don't think he knew. Who I was it was the look in his eyes, the fear that killed me because he couldn't speak unfortunately
