Wow Craig! This is powerful stuff and could have so many hidden meanings pertaining to perhaps, powerful people too. I guess we all begin as rivulets, but few make it to the sea ... and what do they do with that power once they get there?
This has given me much to think about ... love it! :-) x

      Thanks Ben.

You're right to think in metaphors, if you think of a trickle as one person and the sea as a collective you can kinda get where my head was going with this one.

Craig, I love this! It is the little things and experiences we accumulate throughout the years (or tributaries) that make us stronger. (Roaring seas). I don't know whether the metaphors I have highlighted were meant or whether this is just a fun poem, but that's what I'm taking...so there!

Take care and all the very best,

    Ben

I love this too, Craig. Life's a journey, along the way we grow into better versions of our selves...or we make something out of the very tiny bits of what we have. Being the sea now I guess you mean to say you are now an overcomer. :-)

Thank you Mel. This one isn't really about me.

It's about people, and how as a collective they become way stronger and more powerful than they ever would be as an individual.

Loved this and the way the little droplet grows slowly as it journeys into the sea. Very clever and captivating piece. Milly x
