Aw Mel! How sweet is this! So nostalgic to meet with your first love and reminisce.
I loved the rhyming structure and the lovely, happy feel of it all. Beautiful! :-) x

Mel, I almost felt like I was intruding as I read this, so personal and heartfelt is the content. A first love is simply never forgotten and it is for this one fact at least that a bond will always be shared between you.

    Take care, good woman.

Mel, this piece is touching. It took me back to a time. Its a combination of a nostalgic haze and current dialogue. Hugs

Nothing tastes sweeter than the first kiss of our first love.
Mel, anything you write is beautiful-especially the love poems.
Mel, you are magical so are your poems.
BTW, how do you know I love mangoes?

There is nothing like that first love. My first love was a few years older than me, I will never forget her and although I moved half a country away and have children and grandchildren, in some ways I still love her. Good writing.

Man if this doesn't bring back some memories ..connecting to someone elses write says enough about it self. First loves, such bittersweet emotions.. But the images portrayed are amazing in this peice & worded so well. Girl you are truly an inspiration (:
