Cigarette

by CânnâBîsh   Nov 1, 2017

She lights another cigarette

As the smoke fades,
Her troubles go away..

Her heart starts racing,
Forgets everything she's currently facing.

Her oxygen slowly vanishes.
She still has all these plans.

She lights up another cigarette..
And the days go by..
As it kills her slowly.

I quit smoking but I have a terrible habit of picking it up again whenever I’m extremely stressed... great way to describe it

I really like this CJT - you captured the life of a serious smoker very well

A sad piece but I enjoyed it and the format made it very easy to read.

    All the best,

    Ben
