Such a powerful ending to a poem on a unique topic. I thought it was great and it really made me think about past relationships and what love truly is and how two people can be together with two entirely different conceptualizations about what love is. This can eat away when love is defined differently between them.

Sorry if I'm incoherent, just woke up and this is my first read of the day. Regardless, it was a great start to my day.

Thank you! I'm glad to hear it was a great start :)

You're definitely coherent; I understand the point you're making and it's very true...a difference of perspective can create a huge impact.

      Glad you enjoyed it!

Everything you said about toys is true of course, but the way you've used that to express the analogy of throwing out used toys and used love is so clever. It's also thought provoking in terms of how we learn to love as children and how that carries through our lives.
    Really well done! :-) x

      Thank you! :)

It's very true. They do say that the most early years of childhood have the greatest effect and impact on who we become as adults.

      I'm glad you enjoyed it!
