MY HEART

by Sive Klaas   Nov 3, 2017

Had it not been mobbed by misery.
Not as i hurtle i'd loath the hurling.
An elephant, insignificant to be winged.
As i consider my heart, its verges slashes
my capacious eyes.

It sings of songs, 'Lub-dub' - 'Lub-dub'
songs unknown as heard. As a bairn,
yet,still,imprisoned.
'Lub-dub' - 'lub-dub' it still sings of songs unknown.
Had i have to travel with no shame of misery,
My Doyenne Doctor there!

I find liberation, freedom is the high rise.
My heart soaring, yet, still, with songs unknown.
My tiny eyes so dry, they smile,
Since my heart sings of freedom.
