Ocean Waves

by Love   Nov 10, 2017

Nowadays,
My heart grieves in waves,
A sharp tugging,
Which embeds itself,
Along the edges of my soul.

Oh, how I pray,
To be washed away of your love,
To be cleansed along the riptides,
Of this ever breaking heart.

To be whole,
From everything that is broken.

Because,
Inside my turbulent mind,
Now lies a distant shore,
A painful flowing ebb,
Of a violent sea.

And within the cracks,
Of this withered shell,
You just may see...
There is nothing left here,
Inside of me.

    Hi Love

This piece runs with such a delicate flow (pardon the pun) of your emptions painfully withering away, until there is an emptiness.
A sad but lovely piece and worthy of my nomination. well done
    Much love
