Comments : Some Christmas Memories

Ah, Mel, this is sad and beautiful all at once. Each year that passes, our shoulders become more and more weighed down by burdens we accumulate as time goes by, such as losing our grandparents.
I hope this is nominated because I am out of votes already!

All the best ad well done,

    Ben

Thank you so much, Ben. 'Burdens we accumulate' yes I think I can agree with that.

Thank you, Purvi. I have great memories of Christmas in my childhood, and we are not even rich. :-)

oh Lady Mel this is absolutely beautiful but so emotional and powerful as it reminds me of my own Nan at Christmas time as she'd come down on Christmas eve before the buses stopped and went back the day before we started back at school... we'd play loads of card games and do loads of fun things. I miss her too, I can feel your emotions throughout this piece.

    Much love
    Em x

Aw, so poignant Mel. As lovely as Christmas is it's also a huge reminder of those that are missing. Beautiful and nostalgic :-) x
