Merciful angel

by jessica warrick   Nov 23, 2017

My angel of mercy was sent from afar, she came to me in the dark hours speaking of peace and calm. I looked up at her and whispered. Asking “why do you come?” She looked down at me softly, smiled slightly replying. “I come with love.”
My merciful angel my guardian from night took me away and filled me with her light.
We floated on clouds she leans in with a soft kiss upon my lips sending slight shivers of death down my spine. But I do not fear for my merciful angel will not die.
Keeping me safe, keeping me sane making me see the true colors of life. Along the moon we ride watching solar tides, she hands me a star I hold onto it tight, she is beautiful in its light.
I fell in the the same night I died.
