David, sorry for the late comment. I have no idea you have written this poem for whom.
It starts with all those beautiful things you mentioned which only love could bring in our life. Whether they are blossoms or fragrances; oxygen or springs; the pallets of Nectar or THE fruits of life.
David, I am still confused why you let the in uppercase. Could you please solve this mystery?
Love is all about trust, when you trust someone you are ready to cross borders, no margins or degree can stop you from from reaching the land of truth which is partially hidden in fruits of kisses.
Then, it shows the concept of life. Life is a squashing mill and how everything it creates has to destroy one day, even emotions or feelings.
At last everything turns into dust. Some use that to sculpt a face or statues and how one could write a poem around it. Some make buildings out of it by showing us how everything destroys by life creates once again in one form or another, but it happens.
I don't know but I love one minute detail about this poem. First, you chose the category 'love is' and then you title it 'to remember'. As a whole, it would be read as 'love is to remember'.
I mean this is really impressive. Only you could have done that. I mean if you can win the weekly contest with just a tiny drop of moon, so here you created the whole universe.
This is the way universe works, isn't it. It creates and destroys and recreates. Like, we consider ourselves lucky to see a dying star in the sky, we wish upon it too and sometimes we get our wish fulfilled. So, it destroys that star and in turn creates something for us.
David, I always read your poems. It just I don't have much time to comment on each and every poem, but I always love the magic you create with your words.
You are one of the finest poet in pnq.
Your language is as refreshing as a waterfall and Unique as the songs of birds.
David, love is to remember. I am not sure about the other but you really made it memorable for me.
Dear BH I am speechless. Your words make me feel that all those years of experiencing in the field, like bees gathering flowers zests, to save them in my hives, weren't such a waste of time.
Love you my friend!!
"THE" is referred to one of the Christian story about the fruit of life. It has been described as something that if you taste it, everything would pale in compare.
Not that I'm much religion material, but I adore some parts of Bible, Quran, the book of Mormon, and Avesta. They all have some great poetical and mythological values that one could use them in poetry.
