Falling Skies

by Ben   Dec 7, 2017

This loneliness is the prerequisite
of a hearts aching hunger,
that which twists the mind
and fragments the soul Into
casams of rubble where no
foundations can be laid,
riverbeds sit like deserts
across barren lands with falling skies,
dry winds stain iris's of rose; moments of lucid dreams plague a
well worn path and

"am I strong enough"

becomes my mantra.

The answer is 'yes' - you certainly are strong enough. Anyone who can write with such vivid imagery and make even the miserable sound beautiful is not supposed to succumb to 'barren lands' and 'chasms of rubble'.

    Take care, good man.
