Prisoners of Circle

by ddavidd   Dec 10, 2017

Everything is running,
seemingly towards somewhere
but there is nowhere to go
there are just circles,
there are only the mirrors of here
that bourgeons to everywhere,
the mirror of now
that bourgeons
to the time,
the mirrors of one
in everyone!

Like sands in hourglasses,
like sands in riverbeds,
in deserts,
like sands
in the fiber of rocks
like water,
like planets around stars!

Like hours
trapped in clocks
like gear wheels of Swiss-watches
that roll on and on
going nowhere
only to continue,
only to hold on to the edge
of this
very moment
before running out of time
and replaced by other gear wheels.

We are all
of circle!

Quite sad if you think about it too much ddavidd! We can only hope to make each new circle count! A good, thought provoking write! :-) x

Amazing piece. Yes we do walk in circles instead of walking forward and try something new. It's like moving one step forward and ten back. Life is like a circle and I have to say we are slowly going back in time. We are prisoners in every step of the way. It is time for a change and each and one of us has to be willing and ready to do so. This is what I gather from this write. All the very best. Add to my favorite.
