Walk Away

The bruises never heal,
The scars never fade,
All I really want,
is the pain to go away
Why won't you hear my screams?
Ignore all of my cries?
Why is it when I try to leave,
you fill my head with lies

No matter how many times I'm sorry,
no matter all the tears
You still justify,
filling me with fear

But you will listen to me now,
you will hear my plea,
I am worth more, than you'll ever see in me
Treat me right from now on, never mention the past,
Or the next time you kiss me just might be your last

    No matter what walk away, don't look back. This is not a life for anyone. Verbal, physical, any type of abuse is not ok, no matter how much they play nice in between times. You are worth far more than this. Please, please...break yourself from this relationship.
