Love, romance /
i love you
If I had huge majestic wings,
I would fly across the sea.
I would land right there in front of you,
Dip my head and bend my knee.
If I was a bird with those mighty wings,
My talons would be so strong.
They would lift you up so gently,
And take you where you belong.
My beak strong and powerful,
It could strip man's flesh from bone.
It would not be used for such a thing,
But to protect what you call home.
But I am not that bird!
I have not wings, just these two arms,
Not particularly impressive,
But they still keep you from harm!
I have not razor like talons,
To tear and rip apart.
I have but little hands to hold,
That can gently touch your heart.
And yes! I do not have a beak,
I was blessed with just these lips.
To let you feel my passion and love,
Or perhaps just a gentle kiss

What a lovely romantic piece that will appeal to a wide audience. The promise of arms willing to keep a loved one from harm and a gentle kiss is a spot on romantic message that shouts love. Milly x

Hey up dude.
Thanks so much, romantic writing ain't my strong point so glad you liked it
So beautiful and extremely poetic too... All we can do is use what we were given to protect those we love and you Craig seem like the man to do just that
Hey up Em,
So glad you enjoyed, still don't think of myself as a soft though, just a rhyme spinner.
Thank you so much though

An eagle is a beautiful bird. You may not have wings or a beak but much love inside of you and the power to protect those around you. Add to my favorite. All the best
Thank you Dagmar.
I'm just a little me though at yes lots of love
