Two Suns (A Chelsey Challenge)

by Ben   Dec 14, 2017

Before she crests the horizon,
she can be felt,
embracing the sky in her rich
glowing colors as she begins to breath another day,
birds serenade her as she stretches
and yawns with the sweetest of melodies in nature.

She stirs in bed next to me,
slowly emerging from her comfy slumber
snuggling into my chest;
"good morning" I say in the softest of tones,
as she smiles and yawns and smiles again.

The first of her light penetrates the landscape,
as the floating lotus opens to greet her,
warming the young fouls as they prance in the lavender fields and honey bees commence their day of work.

She opens her soft Brown eyes and
my soul surges with opulence,
I grin uncontrollably.
"hey you" as if said by a thousand whispering angels,
her embrace soothing and gentle.

My day has begun

With two suns.
