Our Photo Album

by Mortal Utopia   Dec 17, 2017

When we traced together
the dusty contours of memories
borrowed from Time,

your smile was like the distant sun
half-hidden behind the horizon.

Your shine, mellowed into pastel colours,
was like the yellowed warmth of autumn...

...I realised I've forgotten
the light you bring when you’re truly happy.

So shine on, as we trace,
with blunted fingers,
to where the light comes from.
