Like birds

by Everlasting   Dec 18, 2017

like birds fluttering their wings
against strong winds,
you are, my dear

and just like that,
without stopping up your flight,
despite losing the feathers
of your life,
you glide
from current to current
feeling
exhausted
but happy

by just knowing
you are giving it your best
until you can find your most desire rest
in a heavenly nest.

All we can do is keep flying, I suppose - despite the strong winds and the feathers that are lost upon the way - until we find our 'heavenly nest'.
    I love this, Lucero.

    All the best,

    Ben
